"Greta Thunberg’s enemies are right to be scared. Her new political allies should be too."

This time, I've read an article about Greta Thunberg. She is a young Swedish environmental activist, who has recently made a widely known speech. The speech has been very harshly "judged" by the right-winged political parties. The right wing supporters (and what's worse- politicians!) made a lot of fun out of Greta by comparing her to "a nazi propaganda poster" or calling her a "mentally ill Swedish child". These are just a few examples of horrible people can be for a person (or rather a kid) who tries to save them from an upcoming climate crisis. My opinion is, that people (especially those widely known ones) should focus more on helping others with saving our planet rather than sitting in front of their electronic devices and throwing hate at each other. 5 horrible anti-LGBT arguments

In this video, the presenter talks about five horrible arguments that the right wing representatives gave people against gay marriages. In this post I want to focus on only two, the most horrible ones. One of them was: "Why don't we allow pedophilia then?". In this argument, the person who said it compared a mental disorder, which is pedophilia in this case, to something completely normal, just slightly different. Being a pedophile is a crime and if you're caught on doing pedophilic deeds, you will most likely sentenced. Homosexuality is not a crime nowadays in most of the countries in the world, and what's more, some pf them have even allowed gay marriages! Comparing a psychical illness to a type of sexuality is beyond stupid and people believing in those kind of comparisons should be totally ashamed of themselves. Another argument given by the opposition was, that "if we allow gay marriages, soon we will have to allow marriages with animals", which co...

I Am NOT Black, You are NOT White

The film I have watched talked about labels. The speaker said some very true and useful tings there. For example, he compared our bodies to cars, saying "When I drive my car, no one would ever confuse it with me. So when I drive my body, why do you confuse it for my body. It's my body, not me". From what I concluded, he meant it in a way "why do you label me as black only? It's my body, but not my personality". The skin color doesn't affect our personalities, it's just something we are born with, like we are born with legs and arms. Making big deal from the color difference of our bodies can be hurtful and pretty disrespectful for people of other races, as it might appear the them like they are labeled, put in one box with other black, yellow people and so on. Being labeled is a horrible feeling, that's why we should change our way of thinking while we are still able to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0qD2K2RWkc distort I've distorted ...

Atheists and Christians Debate Truth And Belief

In the video I watched, the producers of the whole thing asked 3 atheists and 3 christians to take part in it. They asked them 5 questions, and the way they could answer them was  to sit on their seats. If someone didn't sit, that would mean they do not agree with the statement that was mentioned. To be fair, I mostly agreed with atheists women, but that didn't really shock me. What actually frustrated me, was the way the oldest christian tried to proof the other side of the debate wrong. He was aggressive, especially towards one of the woman who was able to stand for what she believe and what she thinks is right. However, the fact that they all could come to some agreement at the end of the video showed that even when you don't believe in the same thing, you can still discuss it in the right and calm way and you can still live with each other peacefully. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SjuC0PYscU&t=54s to be a man of faith All the priests are men of faith as the...

The Big Story: Origins of Religion

The video I watched recently talks about Stone Age people and their believes. The part that mostly got my attention was the one that talked about "will" and "spirit". As it has been said in the video, people at that time thought that their moves, the fact that plants are growing and even the movement of sun and moon, they were all the product of will. For those people, the "will" was "spirit", and the whole world was filled in with loads of spirits. However, the spirit was also named as "god". There was a god within everything that had moved, so it was a product of the "will". The interesting thing that has been said in the video was also the fact, that people believed that what they see in the water was their spirit, and not just their reflection. This video answered many questions I had about how people had thought in the Stone Age. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9mFNgu6Cww acquire Nowadays people want to acquire mor...

When will it be accepted to be Muslim and gay?

The main topic of the video I have watched is already mentioned in the title. It shows four people in the middle of the stage, talking (or more like arguing) with audience, about either a man on their left is right or no. That man is gay, who also says he is a muslim. At the beginning he argues with a woman in the audience, who says that if he is gay, it's okay, but he cannot be muslim. Them the man in the middle gets into a fight, telling that woman that if he wants to be a muslim, let him be. His sexuality wasn't his choice, but religion on the other hand is. The rest of the video is basically an argument about the man protecting the gay muslim guy is right or no. When it comes to me and my opinion about this whole thing, I am 100% with the man who says that you can be gay and believe in whatever you want, because faith doesn't have only a few rules that have you have to follow. Different people can interpret every religion how they only want to, which was also said in th...

4th Man Out

Yesterday I watched a great movie called "4th man out". It is about a group of four male friends, and one of them turns out to be gay. He struggles to tell them about it on the first day, because of the party going on and situations related to it. However, on the next they, in the morning, he finally manages to come out to his friends. They are pretty shocked and one of them is pretty mad. He is mad not because of the main character's sexual orientation, but he is unhappy about the fact that his friend wasn't able to come out to him for such a long time of knowing each other. After getting use to that fact, his friends are going to help him with finding a boyfriend. While the film goes on, there is one situation that changes the relationship of the best friends completely. The gay friend thought that his best friend tried to kiss him, but it was unfortunately a misunderstanding. Their friendship falls apart, until the independence day comes, when they talk about the w...
